As the publisher and CEO of SHALE Oil & Gas Business Magazine, Kym Bolado has spent years representing this crucial industry to the business community. SHALE Oil & Gas Business Magazine was born due to Bolado’s interest in the economic development in Texas. With 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, Bolado started publishing the magazine in 2013. The magazine thrived early on and has seen exponential growth since, expanding from a regional magazine to a nationwide publication in just five years.
Along with the growth of the magazine, Bolado took on the challenge of becoming a radio talk show host on In the Oil Patch. In the Oil Patch was started in 2015 on San Antonio’s KTSA 550AM. Within 6 months the show was picked up by two different stations including iHeart Radio’s KTRH 740 AM in Houston and KSIX Corpus Christi 1230AM in Corpus Christi.
